GCFYSL Divisional Playoff Championship

Starting with Spring 2025, GCFYSL extended playoffs to all divisions U11-U19 to create a Division Championship. The top 2 teams from each division play one championship game. When a division contains an East and West group, the top East team will play the top West team.

NOTE: There are no Fall playoffs.

Qualifying Teams

The top 2 teams from each division U11-U19. Third place teams are designated as a provisional invite should one of the top four teams choose not to participate. For divisions with East/West groups, the top East team will play the top West team for one championship game.

Qualifying emails will go out to clubs & teams Monday morning, 5/5. To finalize and post brackets, confirmation of participation or declining invite by Monday evening would be appreciated.

Girls - U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16/17,  U18/19

Boys - U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U18/19

In the interest of fair play, please do not attempt to manipulate rosters to add players that have not been rostered for the season. We will be checking and this could result in disqualification.

Season Score Entry

All scores must be entered by midnight Sunday 5/4 to be considered for playoff seeding.

The schedule will be available from the same link as the season schedule. The playoffs show within the age bracket schedule.

Referee Fees

Each team will pay half the referee fees, standard GCF fees apply. Fees can be prepaid through GotSport, Zelle, or in cash at check-in.
U11/U12 = $100 -> you pay $50
U13/U14 = $120 -> you pay $60
U15/U16 = $140 -> you pay $70
U17-U19 = $160 -> you pay $80

Roster Freeze

Roster Freeze will take place at noon on Friday, 5/8. Primary1 players are allowed who are shown to have played during the season.

Check-in

Check-in at the main building 1 hour before your first game. Teams with 8:30am games may check-in by 8:00am.

  • Present all player and coach passes.
  • Pay referee fees if not pre-paid. Teams will be required to split referee fees for Semi-Final matches only, cash preferred.
  • You do not need to print match cards, they will be provided.

Awards

Trophies and medals will be awarded. A Champion trophy goes to the 1st place team, Champion Medals go to the 1st place players, Finalist medals go to the 2nd place players. Be sure to come to the check-in area after your match.
